The success of last year’s event led Pentana Solutions to entrust Location a Milano once again with the organisation of Pentana Day 2026, marking the second consecutive year of collaboration and reflecting the company’s confidence in the experience, approach and results delivered by the team.
A format worth repeating, with room to refine
This annual gathering brings together managers and employees from Pentana's Milan office, connected via live streaming to the company's headquarters in Australia, with several international speakers contributing to the agenda. Given the geographical spread of the participants, this is a truly cross-continental event, requiring the kind of technical precision that leaves zero room for buffering issues or dropped connections during presentations.
Having been visibly satisfied with the previous edition, hosted at the same venue, the client asked us to replicate last year's format whilst introducing targeted improvements aimed at optimising event flow. Particular attention went toward the technical management of streaming, which, given the considerable distance between Milan and Australia, functioned as an absolutely fundamental pillar of the entire operation.
Structuring the day around what worked
We built the event broadly along the same lines as the previous year's edition, because why fix something that genuinely wasn't broken. Dedicated transfers were arranged from the company headquarters for every guest who requested one, covering both outbound and return journeys, removing one obvious source of friction before the day even began.
The meeting, hosting 80 participants, relied on the venue's internal technical support, complemented by our trusted external service for flawless management of streaming connections and video recording throughout. The agenda kept its familiar rhythm too, with a mid-morning coffee break, followed by a generous buffet lunch.
A photographer captured every moment of the day, including its most unexpected highlight, two speakers breaking into an impromptu dance that injected a genuinely lighthearted pause into what had otherwise been a formal meeting.
Where the client wanted change
Not everything stayed identical, and that's precisely the point of returning clients providing honest feedback. Thanks to lessons learned from the previous edition, several critical points were addressed proactively this time round. The coffee break itself was extended in duration and spread across two separate buffet stations, eliminating the queuing bottleneck that had slowed things down previously.
A dedicated hotel contact also remained available throughout the entire day, ensuring any logistical hiccup got resolved immediately rather than escalating into something disruptive.

The client expressed complete satisfaction with the outcome. "The word I'd use is connection, because this event manages every year to bring together company members from different parts of the world," they noted.
