OsloSkinLab launches exclusive pop up store in central Milan
OsloSkinLab has strengthened its presence in Italy through a temporary retail project in the centre of Milan, selecting a high visibility location in Via Garibaldi for an immersive pop up store dedicated to its premium skincare line.
The initiative was developed with the support of Location a Milano, following the brand’s request for a space capable of combining strategic positioning, strong pedestrian traffic and an environment aligned with the clean, refined identity associated with Scandinavian skincare. The result was a pop up conceived not only as a retail space, but also as an experiential setting focused on personalised beauty services and direct interaction with customers.

A strategic location in Via Garibaldi
The selected venue is located in Via Garibaldi, one of Milan’s busiest and most recognisable commercial streets, characterised by a constant flow of residents, tourists and consumers with high spending capacity.

For OsloSkinLab, the position of the space played a central role in the project. The brand was looking for a location capable of attracting attention naturally, without relying on excessive visual elements or temporary installations disconnected from its aesthetic language.

Location a Milano identified a venue that reflected those requirements closely: large interiors, abundant natural light and flexible layouts suitable for different activities taking place simultaneously. The surrounding urban context also contributed to reinforcing the premium positioning of the initiative, particularly within a district already associated with fashion, design and lifestyle retail.
Personalised skincare experiences at the centre of the project
The interior organisation of the pop up was designed to host multiple functions within a coherent environment. Dedicated areas were created for personalised skincare consultations, beauty sessions and product presentation, allowing visitors to move fluidly between different experiences.

Particular attention was given to the consultation aspect, which represented one of the central elements of the activation. Customers were able to access tailored skincare analysis and receive direct guidance within a setting designed to feel welcoming while maintaining a distinctly premium atmosphere.
The modular nature of the venue allowed OsloSkinLab to adapt the space according to operational needs without compromising visual consistency. Lighting, circulation and product display were integrated into a layout intended to support both customer engagement and commercial objectives.

A pop up designed around brand identity
Rather than creating a conventional temporary shop, the project focused on translating OsloSkinLab’s brand identity into a physical environment. The aesthetic direction remained closely aligned with the company’s image, combining minimal design choices with softer visual elements intended to create a calm and immersive experience.
This coherence between product, communication and physical setting contributed significantly to the effectiveness of the pop up. The location itself became part of the brand narrative, particularly in a city like Milan where visual presentation and spatial design often influence customer perception as much as the products themselves.

At the same time, practical considerations remained central throughout the project. According to the brief, every aspect of the activation was developed within the established budget while maintaining the level of quality expected by the brand.
Strengthening OsloSkinLab’s presence in Milan
The Milan pop up allowed OsloSkinLab to consolidate its visibility in one of Italy’s most competitive retail environments through a format centred on direct customer interaction and experiential beauty services.

The combination of a strategic location, adaptable interiors and activities focused on personalised skincare contributed to the overall success of the initiative. Consultations, beauty classes and retail areas operated within a setting designed specifically to reflect the premium character of the brand while remaining accessible to a broad audience moving through one of Milan’s busiest shopping districts.
For OsloSkinLab, the project represented not only a temporary retail activation, but also a broader opportunity to reinforce its positioning within the Milanese market through an environment built around visibility, experience and brand coherence.
