Milan Beauty Week 2026: key event spaces and location trends shaping the beauty industry

Milan Beauty Week runs from September 16–20, 2026, organised by Cosmetica Italia in partnership with Cosmoprof and Esxence to promote the social, scientific, and economic value of cosmetics whilst highlighting Italy's cosmetics supply chain.

The event represents far more than a trade gathering, having become Milan’s definitive moment for celebrating beauty culture across the entire city. It spans five intensive days of activities, meetings, and hands-on workshops, with programmes dedicated to professionals during the opening days and open to the general public during the final days.

The growing demand for specialised beauty venues

The event welcomes a diverse audience: cosmetics industry professionals including estheticians, makeup artists and dermatologists, beauty enthusiasts, and the general public, with each visitor category finding content suited to their interests and expertise level. This breadth creates unusual venue requirements.

The programme includes over 100 activities spanning informative talks with dermatologists and industry experts, interactive hands-on workshops led by brands, makeup and skincare demonstrations, and themed pathways covering anti-ageing, cosmetic sustainability and personalised beauty.

Temporary spaces have become essential infrastructure. The Corso Garibaldi double-window venue in Brera offers unparalleled street visibility with expansive glass facades flooding interiors with natural light, creating an irresistible atmosphere for product presentations and brand activations. Its external terrace amplifies possibilities for outdoor receptions and installations, ideal for showcasing new collections during beauty week intensity.

Reimagined industrial spaces

The Porta Venezia open space—a formerly abandoned tram depot now meticulously restored—combines industrial heritage with contemporary flexibility. Its 400-square-metre upper floor operates as a breathtaking open space fully reconfigurable through an ingenious curtain system, transforming from one magnificent hall into multiple intimate zones. The 200-square-metre internal courtyard below captures natural light whilst offering covered outdoor possibilities. This architecture frames sophisticated runway presentations, high-level corporate gatherings, refined evening receptions, and premium brand experiences effortlessly.

Rooftop and contemporary glazed spaces

The Washington district rooftop offers an entirely different proposition. Positioned minutes from the M4 Bolivar metro station, this characterful rooftop features a semi-covered terrace with a 1.9-metre 4K LED wall and configurable lounge areas accommodating up to seventy guests. Its modularity serves diverse formats through dedicated meeting rooms, personalised entrance options, and an adaptable bar area. Open city views add tangible value whilst single-level organisation ensures fluidity and comfort—a strategic choice for corporate meetings, company dinners, cocktail parties, and product presentations requiring refined, flexible, highly representative environments.

Centrally positioned between vibrant Porta Venezia and dynamic Città Studi, the newly finished glazed venue commands attention through ten magnificent storefronts running the entire perimeter, creating luminous, welcoming atmospheres. This thoroughly renovated space accommodates exclusive temporary shops, contemporary art exhibitions, high-impact promotional events, and FuoriSalone presentations with seamless elegance.

The beauty industry's expanding footprint

Beauty professionals seek innovation and networking, R&D experts share knowledge, entrepreneurs present new products, consumers participate in workshops and demonstrations, and students explore career paths—transforming the event into a collaborative ecosystem bridging creators and end-users.

Milano Beauty Week's spatial diversity ensures that whether launching groundbreaking formulations, hosting exclusive masterclasses, or creating immersive brand narratives, appropriate venues exist within the city's evolving event infrastructure.
