Milan Loves Seoul 2025: Fashion and Creativity in a Historic Palace

Written by Gloria Lodigiani

The fashion world eagerly awaits Milan Fashion Week in February 2025, and a standout event is set to bridge cultures in the most stylish way possible.

Milan Loves Seoul, now in its second edition, will transform a stunning 18th-century palazzo on Corso Venezia into a showcase of Korean design, beauty, and culture from 28 February to 3 March 2025.

A Neoclassical Residence Hosting Cultural Exchange

This Baroque residence, with its Neoclassical Lombard style, is a prime example of Milan's architectural heritage. Attendees will find themselves in a world where fashion meets history, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

The palazzo's decorated rooms provide the ideal setting for the cutting-edge designs and innovative concepts that Milan Loves Seoul presents.

The 'Sala Colonne', a luminous hall featuring impressive marble columns, will be the gathering point for fashion enthusiasts, industry insiders, and cultural aficionados to witness the convergence of Italian elegance and Korean creativity. The combination of centuries-old craftsmanship with contemporary design offers a unique perspective on the global nature of fashion.

The palazzo's external courtyard is ideal for hosting fashion shows of any kind, adding the perfect touch of glamour to every event

Building a Bridge between Italy and Korea in Milan's Heart

Created by Ylenia Basagni and Marcella Di Simone, a fashion event manager and a communications manager respectively, Milan Loves Seoul aims to accelerate the dialogue between Italy and South Korea.

This is more than a fashion event - it's a cultural exchange that celebrates the synergy between Italian and Korean design. In collaboration with event organizers Daniele Capogna, Paolo Rossanigo, Lucio Rado, and Alessandro Pitzalis, the four-day programme includes fashion shows with an Afterparty, beauty areas, masterclasses, and networking and business opportunities.

The event showcases emerging designers during Milan and Seoul Fashion Week, opening up new avenues for cross-cultural pollination in art, fashion, and textile innovation. It's a bold statement that fashion is a universal language, capable of transcending borders and bringing diverse cultures together.

Milan Loves Seoul also positions itself as a harbinger of change, promoting Seoul as a potential fifth fashion capital alongside Milan, Paris, New York, and London.

This significant initiative takes place in a true 'jewel' located in the heart of Milan, one of the city's most stunning historic palaces. It provides the perfect backdrop to showcase events centered on elegance, creativity, culture, art, and style, in a city that embodies these qualities in countless ways.
