Xiaomi sought to host a team building away from Milan’s hustle and bustle, aiming to unite employees and foster greater collaboration. The goal was to provide a unique, exciting experience in a relaxing yet stimulating setting that would encourage teamwork and strengthen team spirit. The primary task was to find the perfect venue and create a customised activity for the Milan office staff.

Xiaomi's team treasure hunting in Arona

To fulfil Xiaomi’s needs, the charming town of Arona on Lake Maggiore was chosen, allowing the team to stay in a lakeside hotel with a breathtaking view. After a delightful lunch, participants embarked on the “Treasure Hunt Conquering Arona.” During this adventure, each team explored the most picturesque corners of the village, tackling tasks designed to spark curiosity and share knowledge about the local area.

Moving from place to place, participants tested strategic skills and absorbed newly learned facts, all aiming for the final triumph. Once the winners were announced, everyone gathered on the hotel terrace for a convivial aperitif, concluding the day in a festive, shared atmosphere.

The proposed activities were met with great enthusiasm, meeting and even exceeding the client’s expectations. The treasure hunt fostered collaboration, inspiring interaction in an idyllic, unconventional setting. The group’s excitement and the relaxed atmosphere confirmed the idea’s effectiveness, offering all participants a memorable experience that solidified internal cohesion and enhanced team dynamics.
