In a kitchen designed for multiple groups, BIP Vidiemme experimented with a formula combining taste and commitment to rules. Each team tackled exercises mirroring workplace demands: adhering to procedures, dealing with surprises, and communicating swiftly. The arrival of the “mystery box” introduced a spark of curiosity, reminding everyone how even in serious contexts, the excitement of a well-orchestrated game can arise.

BIP Vidiemme's brief: a unique team building experience was required
BIP Vidiemme entrusted our professionals to organise a team building activity with a clear objective: to engage participants in a learning process focused on the proper application of rules and procedures, while also boosting unity and cooperation among colleagues. The event aimed to reinforce team spirit by highlighting the benefits of a meticulous, structured approach in everyday work.
Our Proposal
Culinary-themed team building with a twist
We selected a spacious open-plan kitchen in Milan, perfect for many participants to cook simultaneously. Following one of our popular team building formats, each team prepared either a specific dish or finger food, adhering to recipes set by our expert chefs.
Midway through the day, to heighten the excitement, we introduced a surprise “mystery box” delivered by Sonia Peronaci, founder of Italy's most famous recipe website, “Giallo Zafferano.” Each group randomly picked ingredients, tackling an additional challenge: creating an innovative second course with the items at hand. The goal was to test organisation, discipline, creativity, and collaborative spirit in a uniquely flavourful environment.
At the end of the activity, teams showcased their dishes to a panel, judged on flavour, innovation, coordination, problem-solving, and adherence to the recipes. The day finished with a group aperitif, where everyone’s efforts were celebrated with delightful samples and select sparkling wines.
